Service Description

In Winchester, TN, we offer a 2 wheel Basic Rider Course (BRC) that will give you hands-on practice riding a motorcycle, starting with all the controls, and working our way up to techniques for safety and smooth operation. We discuss and also practice low speed maneuvers, emergency braking, swerving, and cornering, along with strategies for reducing risk while riding. Our Basic class costs $225, is a 2 day class, we supply the motorcycle (nothing larger than a 300cc engine), and you will take the written test and riding test with us, and you do not need any experience. Class typically runs 7:30am to 2:00pm Central Standard Time each day. We also have helmets available to borrow. Once your payment processes, we will email you a confirmation email (during business hours) with all the details. There is also a 5 hour classroom session you will complete at home, on your own computer, prior to meeting us for your riding / discussion session (the link will be provided in your confirmation email ). Once you've completed both the riding and the classroom sessions, we give you documents to take to a TN DMV, and will let them know you've already tested, so you may only have to take an eye test there - but you won't have to take the written or riding tests with them. Then, you pay their fee (and bring any documents they request) and they add the "M" endorsement to your regular drivers license and then it renews when your driver's license renews. Alabama also accepts our paperwork, so all the same details apply. You will need to wear over the ankle boots, jeans, long sleeve shirt, full finger gloves, eye protection, and a DOT approved helmet for class. We keep our class sizes smaller than other sites in TN, so be sure if you have a set of dates in mind, to go ahead and register, that way you are guaranteed a seat for those dates. Keep in mind, we cannot issue refunds, so in the event you cannot attend your class dates, be sure to let us know as soon as possible, and we can reschedule into a future class with no additional fees (unless you do not give us 7 days notice, then there is a $50 charge to reschedule to the future class). You are allowed 3 reschedules, up to a year from the date of your original class.
